Dear Captain Miller,

I would like to offer my wholehearted thanks and appreciation to you, First-Officer Kevin Arnold and the entire United Airlines Phoenix Fantasy Flight team for creating a wonderful Christmas experience for so many valley children. I was very touched to receive First-Officer Arnold’s invitation to join the December 6, 2013 Fantasy Flight. Were it not for my previous scheduled commitments. I would be there.
Captain Miller, the Phoenix Fantasy Flight Program has done so much for underprivileged young children since 1996, and I am delighted to know that you will be inspiring a new group of children this year. I hope that you will extend my deepest admiration to everyone involved in this year’s flight to “Santa’s Village.” Now more than ever, under-served children and families need to know that people care about them, especially at Christmas time. The Fantasy Flight Program does this and much more.
It is my honor to be a voice for you and your family in Congress, and I hope that you will reach out to me &there is any way that my office or I can assist the Phoenix Fantasy Flight in the days ahead. I also encourage you to keep me apprised of your work with United Airlines. United is an important legacy airline and its future welfare and prosperity is important to us all.
Thank you for creating this unique and heartwarming program.

Congress Sinema letter

“Dear Captain Bob, Deb and all your helpers,

We would like to Thank you so much for the experience of the Fantasy Flight with United Airlines. The students could not stop talking about all the fun activities and delicious food you provided for them. Although Santa was the main event their excitement went beyond just the visit to Mr. & Mrs Claus. The classroom talked about the Police department with their various forms of transportation, trained horse and dogs. A real treat was the Fire department providing a tour of the trucks. The children got to ask some interesting questions to the Marines and I am sure the Flight Attendants had a few stories to share about the curiosity and comments of the children on the airplane. The ASU students also showed our students some very caring attention and talked about staying in school and going to college. This excursion included all the fun of a trip to the North Pole but also an educational experience you can not get sitting in a class room.

We hope the thank you notes written by the students provide some holiday cheer. Please share our heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved for giving the students and staff at Children’s First Academy a wonderful experience that we will not forget.
